Submission terms.

Plainly stated: submitting a manuscript to Diamond Sunrise Press does not grant us any rights to your work. It is not a contract. No royalty obligation attaches. You retain all rights until and unless we sign a separate contract together, in writing, off this platform.

What submission means

When you submit a manuscript through the portal, you give us permission to read your work for the purpose of editorial review, and to retain the files we describe in the privacy policy for the retention periods stated there. That is all.

Outcomes

We will accept, decline, or ask for more information on each submission. If we accept your work, our editorial team follows up directly to discuss a contract. Contract terms, royalty rates, and any payment arrangements are negotiated off-platform and recorded in a separate signed paper.

Withdrawal

You may withdraw your submission at any time while it is still in the editorial queue (before a decision lands). After acceptance, please contact us directly to discuss withdrawal.

Files

We require PDF, DOCX, or EPUB up to 15 MB. We do not accept .doc, .rtf, .txt, or other formats; the editor opens the files we receive.
